Digital board like Pinterest where information can easily be shared with, or contributed to, by students
Great for assessments where multiple resources are needed to be used from websites
Interactive slideshows where students login from their own devices and add to shared noticeboards, answer quizzes and review information
Students LOVE this, but building these are incredibly time-consuming, so aren't useful for every single lesson
Interactive quiz game where students log in from their own devices
There are a heap of pre-made quizzes but you can also make your own for a fun formative assessment task
Similar to a Kahoot but students work at their own pace instead of keeping with the group
Much more fun because it is fast and competitive
Students can 'steal' coins and points from each other and you can set a timer to be however long you want it to be
Website for monitoring classroom noise
Sensitivity and imagery can be changed
Interactive presentation software that allows teachers to poll their students, create awesome Mind Maps or create word clouds with live results that the whole class can see
Marketed as "whole class gaming from a single screen" (no devices needed)
This site is also great for finding memes or images that can be used to start class discussion
Interactive quizzes students can play at their own pace, with memes and fun feedback built in.
Real-time student response system for quizzes, polls, and exit tickets that shows instant results.
Students complete assignments digitally while teachers give live feedback and track progress.
Gamified quiz platform with detailed teacher insights into student progress.
Screen recording software
Great for recording video overviews of assessments or lesson content
Students hold up printed QR cards and the teacher scans the room with their phone to collect answers.
Useful in classrooms with limited student devices.
Lots of fun, need to have iPad or smart phone access and solid internet connectivity for both. I believe both devices need to be connected to the same internet connection. Works best if you have an ipad and laptop both connected to the same wifi. Ipad needs to have the Plickers app downloaded. It's a bit of work and needs to have perfect conditions but is very engaging.
Conduct live polls with students such as word clouds, bar charts, pie charts, competitions and quizzes, likert scales (disagree - agree scales), Q&A, radar charts
Great inclusions in the free plan
Image source: Screencapture Education.com's Worksheet Generator
Great website with lots of premade worksheets however most, if not all, are in line with US standards.
The best feature of this website is the worksheet generator for great starter activities and brain breaks.
Organisational tool that can be used for group projects, planning, and collaborative workflows.
Similar to Padlet
Free design tool for students and teachers to create posters, infographics, presentations, or social media–style content.
Can be used for many different applications including exit tickets, reflections and informal quizzes
An easy introduction to website creation for students, and a perfect tool for assessments, group activities or providing students with resources
Use the screen recording function in PowerPoint to record your lessons or assessment overview
Upload videos (such as screen recordings and assessment overviews) to YouTube and keep them as "unlisted" for your students to access - this won't make your videos public, but will allow anyone with a link access as long as the video is up
